MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to help guide our students to learn, think and develop socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment. We strive to foster young children’s self-confidence, their sense of self-sufficiency and to raise their awareness of the world around them.

The Laurel School program is designed to provide creative learning experiences for each of our students. Every child is encouraged to explore and develop his or her particular interests and abilities in language, art, crafts, music, natural science and group awareness.

Our professional staff provides the students with daily challenges, thus stimulating their interest in learning through curiosity and exploration. These early intellectual and cognitive experiences translate into a love for and satisfaction in learning that will remain with the child for a lifetime.
